In the morning, the President will receive the President’s Daily Brief. This meeting in the Oval Office will be closed press. The Vice President will attend.
 
In the afternoon, the President will tour demonstrations at American Possibilities: A White House Demo Day. Demo Day will showcase the science and technology spurred by Bidenomics, federal R&D, and the President’s Investing in America agenda. This tour at The Showroom, Washington, DC will be covered by the in-town travel pool.

The President and the First Lady will host veterans and members of the military community at the White House to commemorate Veterans Day.

The President and the First Lady will participate in the Presidential Armed Forces Full Honor Wreath-Laying Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery. The Vice President and the Second Gentleman will attend.

The President will deliver remarks at the National Veterans Day Observance at the Memorial Amphitheater. The First Lady, the Vice President, and the Second Gentleman will attend.

The President and the First Lady will travel to Wilmington, Delaware.

The President and the First Lady will return to the White House from Wilmington, Delaware.
  

TREASURY DEPT –  

Tuesday  – At 1:30 PM ET, Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen will deliver remarks at the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) headquarters to outline the improvements to filing season the IRS will deliver to taxpayers in 2024, using resources from the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). In her speech, Secretary Yellen will provide an update on the Paperless Processing Initiative announced in August and discuss new customer service targets to build on significant progress made in the 2023 Filing Season. Secretary Yellen will highlight new service and technology improvements taxpayers will benefit from in the upcoming filing season, including upgrades that were delayed for years and are now advancing thanks to the IRA.
