DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR
FRIDAY, MAY 26, 2023

In the morning, the President will receive the President’s Daily Brief. This meeting will be closed press.

In the afternoon, the President and the First Lady will welcome the Louisiana State University Tigers Women’s Basketball team to the White House to celebrate their 2022-2023 NCAA Championship season.  The Vice President will also deliver remarks. The Second Gentleman will attend. This event in the East Room will be open to pre-credentialed media and pooled for TV.
 
In the evening, the President will welcome the University of Connecticut Huskies Men’s Basketball team to the White House to celebrate their 2022-2023 NCAA Championship season. The Second Gentleman will attend. This event in the East Room will be open to pre-credentialed media and pooled for TV.

After, the President and the First Lady will depart the White House en route to Camp David. The departure from the South Lawn will be open press.

The President will host a breakfast in honor of Memorial Day in the East Room.
 
The President and the First Lady will participate in a Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery. The Vice President and the Second Gentleman will attend.
 
The President will deliver the Memorial Day Address at the 155th National Memorial Day Observance at Memorial Amphitheater at Arlington National Cemetery. The Vice President, the First Lady, and the Second Gentleman will attend.
 
The President and the First Lady will travel to Wilmington, Delaware.

Friday – 930AM – Secretary Yellen will virtually meet with the incoming COP28 President-Designate Dr. Sultan al Jaber. The meeting is closed press..   1015AM – Secretary Yellen will meet with IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva. The meeting is closed press .
