After, the President and the First Lady will depart Reno, Nevada en route to Maui, Hawaii. The departure from Reno-Tahoe International Airport, Reno, Nevada will be covered by the out-of-town pool. The arrival in Maui, Hawaii will be open press.
In the afternoon, the President and First Lady will meet with federal, state, and local leaders. The President and the First Lady will see firsthand the impacts of the devastating wildfires as well as discuss the recovery effort. While in Maui, they will also talk to survivors and thank first responders. These events will be covered by the out-of-town pool.
