In the morning, the President will receive the President’s Daily Brief. This meeting will be closed press.
Later, the President and the First Lady will depart the White House en route to a public school in Washington, DC. The departure from the South Grounds will be covered by the in-town travel pool.
In the afternoon, the President and the First Lady will visit a public school to welcome students back to school. This event in Washington, DC will be covered by the in-town travel pool.
After, the President and the First Lady will return to the White House. The departure from the public school and arrival at the South Grounds will be covered by the in-town travel pool.
In the evening, the President will deliver remarks at a reception to commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the founding of the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law. This event in the East Room will be open to pre-credentialed media and pooled for TV.

Monday – At 12:45 PM, Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen will join Vice President Harris, Chair of the White House Labor Task Force, to announce a first-of-its-kind report on labor unions and evidence that unions strengthen the middle class and grow the economy. They will also affirm the Biden-Harris Administration’s commitment to empowering workers and highlight how that work, a pillar of Bidenomics, is delivering for the American people.
