White House and Other Schedules for Friday, Oct 20

WASHINGTON (MaceNews) – The following are Friday’s schedules for the White House, Treasury, USTR, the State Department and Capitol Hill as well as U.S. economic data and Federal Reserve events:


DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE
FOR FRIDAY, OCTOBER 20, 2023


In the morning, the President will receive the President’s Daily Brief. This meeting will be closed press.

After, the President will welcome President Charles Michel of the European Council and President Ursula von der Leyen of the European Commission to the White House for the second U.S. – EU Summit since the President took office. This meeting in the Cabinet Room will have a restricted in-house pool spray at the top.

In the afternoon, the President will participate in a campaign reception. This reception in Washington, DC will be covered by the restricted in-town travel pool and the in-town travel pool will accompany.

In the evening, the President and the First Lady will depart Washington, DC en route to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. The arrival at Joint Base Andrews will be covered by the in-town travel pool. The arrival at and departure from Dover Air Force Base, Dover, Delaware will be covered by the supplemental pool. The arrival to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware will be covered by the out-of-town pool.

Friday – Ambassador Katherine Tai will participate in the White House U.S.-EU Summit. This meeting in the Cabinet Room will have a restricted in-house pool spray at the top.
