Wednesday – Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen will travel to Boston, Massachusetts to tour Roxbury Community College and deliver remarks on how President Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act – and the Biden Administration’s Investing in America agenda – are lowering energy costs and creating economic opportunity. Secretary Yellen will tour the college’s Center for Smart Building Technology and host a roundtable discussion with local business leaders to discuss the growth of the clean energy industry and how federal and state incentives are working together to lower key costs and create economic opportunity. Secretary Yellen will be joined at Roxbury Community College by Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey and Boston Mayor Michelle Wu. Remarks will begin at 11:30 AM.
