In the morning, the President will receive the President’s Daily Brief. This meeting will be closed press.
Then, the President and the First Lady will travel to Dover, Delaware. The departure from Delaware Air National Guard Base, New Castle, Delaware and arrival at Dover Air Force Base, Dover, Delaware will be covered by the out-of-town pool.
After, the President and the First Lady will meet with the families of fallen American service members. These meetings at Dover Air Force Base will be closed press.
In the afternoon, the President and the First Lady will participate in a dignified transfer at Dover Air Force Base. Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General CQ Brown will attend. This solemn movement will be pooled press.
Later, the President and the First Lady will depart Dover, Delaware en route to New Castle, Delaware. The departure from Dover Air Force Base and the arrival at Delaware Air National Guard Base will be covered by the out-of-town pool.
