In the morning, the President will receive the President’s Daily Brief. This meeting will be closed press.

In the afternoon, the President will depart the White House and travel to Wilmington, Delaware. The departure from the South Lawn will be open press. The arrival at Delaware Air National Guard Base, New Castle, Delaware will be covered by the out-of-town pool.

.US HOUSE –

Friday – Back at 9a ET. Will debate the $1.2 Tln budget deal and vote on final passage as early as 11a ET. It will need a two-thirds majority and Democratic leadership  has said their side will provide enough votes offsetting substantial Republican resistance. Then to Senate which is prepared a rapid vote, expected to avoid the midnight deadline for a partial government shutdown. Then a two-week recess.

US SENATE

Friday – 11:00 a.m.: Convene and proceed to executive session to resume consideration of the nomination of Ernest Gonzalez, of Texas, to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Texas.. Then to vote on the budget deal as soon as the House sends it over. Then Pres Biden’s signature, all expected before the midnight shutdown deadline.
