TREASURY DEPT –
Tuesday – – Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen, Deputy Secretary of the Treasury Wally Adeyemo, and other senior Treasury officials will represent the United States in the 2024 Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group (WBG) and will participate in events on the margins in Washington, DC.
At 10:00 AM, Secretary Yellen will hold a press conference at the Treasury Department, where she will deliver remarks on her key priorities for the Spring Meetings. This press conference is open to pre-credentialed press and will be livestreamed here. Media interested in attending this press conference must email grady.thomson@treasury.gov.
At 11:00 AM, Secretary Yellen will convene a meeting of the U.S.-China Financial Working Group and the Economic Working Group at the Treasury Department.
