WASHINGTON (MaceNews) – The following are Friday’s schedules for the White House, Treasury, the State Department, Capitol Hill and for upcoming economic data:

The White House

DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR
FRIDAY, APRIL 16, 2021

 In the morning, the President will receive the President’s Daily Brief in the Oval Office. This meeting will be closed press.
 
In the afternoon, the President will host H.E. Suga Yoshihide, Prime Minister of Japan, at The White House for an Official Working Visit and the President’s first in-person bilateral meeting with a foreign leader, reflecting the importance of our bilateral relationship with Japan and our friendship and partnership with the Japanese people. This meeting in the Oval Office will be closed press.
 
Then, the President will host H.E. Suga Yoshihide, Prime Minister of Japan, for an expanded bilateral meeting in the State Dining Room. This meeting will have a pool spray at the top.
 
After, the President will participate in a press conference with H.E. Suga Yoshihide, Prime Minister of Japan, in the Rose Garden. This event will be pooled press.
 
In the evening, the President will travel to Wilmington, Delaware, where he will remain over the weekend. The departure from the Ellipse will be covered by the in-town pool. The arrival at Delaware Air National Guard Base will be covered by the travel pool.
