Schedule for Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen
Secretary Janet L. Yellen will participate in The Atlantic’s Future Economy Summit. The Summit will feature a previously recorded conversation between Secretary Yellen and Senior Editor Ron Brownstein for a segment called The Biden Recovery Plan. The conversation begins at 11 a.m. ET.
Secretary Yellen will also participate in the Wall Street Journal‘s CEO Council summit to discuss the Biden Administration’s first 100 days and the American Jobs Plan and American Families Plan. The livestreamed conversation with Jerry Seib, the Washington editor of the Wall Street Journal, will begin at 4 p.m. ET.
Additionally, Treasury will meet with the Treasury Borrowing Advisory Committee (TBAC) as part of the Quarterly Refunding process. The meeting is closed press.
Deputy Secretary Wally Adeyemo will meet virtually with advisors and staff.

State Department Daily Briefing
Tuesday – Secretary Blinken in the UK attending the G7 Foreign and Development Ministers’ Meeting iand then will visit Ukraine through Wednesday. News briefings on irregular schedule, usually at approximately 2p ET although often delayed on short notice. Friday was by telephone at 2p. There was no briefing Monday nor will there be until Blinken returns.
