WASHINGTON (MaceNews) – The following are Friday’s schedules for the White House, Treasury, the State Department, the Capitol and for upcoming economic data:

The White House

DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR
FRIDAY, MAY 7, 2021

 
In the morning, the President will receive the President’s Daily Brief in the Oval Office. This meeting will be closed press.
 
After, the President will deliver remarks on the April jobs report in the East Room. This event will be pooled press.
 
In the afternoon, the President will have lunch with the Vice President in the Private Dining Room. This lunch will be closed press.
 
Then, the President and the Vice President will receive the Weekly Economic Briefing in the Roosevelt Room. This meeting will be closed press. 
 
Later, the President will meet with his Jobs Cabinet in the Blue Room. The Vice President will also attend. This meeting will be closed press.
 
In the evening, the President will travel to Camp David, where he will remain over the weekend. The departure from the Ellipse will be covered by the in-town pool.

Schedule for Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen

Friday – Secretary Janet L. Yellen will attend the White House daily press briefing with White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki.

Additionally, Secretary Yellen will attend the Weekly Economic Briefing with President Biden and Vice President Harris in The Oval Office. This meeting will be closed press. 

Deputy Secretary Wally Adeyemo will meet virtually with advisors and staff.

                                    State Department Daily Briefing

Friday Secretary Blinken back from UK visit attending the G7 Foreign and Development Ministers’ Meeting and his visit to Kyiv, Ukraine. News briefings on irregular schedule, usually at approximately 2p ET although often delayed on short notice. Wednesday’s was by telephone at 2p ET. There was no briefing Thursday.

The Senate

Out until next week. Convene Thursday 4:00 p.m. for a pro forma session.

The House  

Out There are no votes until May 11.
