Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen
Wednesday – Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen will travel to the G7 finance ministers meeting in London, England. During her first overseas trip, Secretary Yellen will reinforce the U.S. commitment to policy priorities to promote the global recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, including maintaining supportive fiscal policies, vaccine access and distribution, and support for low-income countries. She will also discuss with her G7 partners the importance of improving public health to prevent future pandemics and building greener and more resilient economies to meet the challenges of climate change.
Deputy Secretary of the Treasury Wally Adeyemo will participate in a virtual roundtable discussion with representatives from small businesses to discuss the impact of sanctions on their operations.
