The White House
DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR
THURSDAY, JULY 22, 2021
In the morning, the President and the Vice President will receive the President’s Daily Brief in the Oval Office. This meeting will be closed press.
In the afternoon, the President will receive a briefing from members of the White House COVID-19 Response Team on the COVID-19 pandemic and the vaccination program in the Oval Office. This meeting will be closed press.
Then, the President will deliver remarks and sign H.R. 1652, the VOCA Fix to Sustain the Crime Victims Fund Act of 2021, into law in the East Room. The Vice President will also attend. This event will be covered by the in-house pool and pre-credentialed media. [RSVP here by 9 AM.]
After, the President and the Vice President will meet with union and business leaders to discuss the strong support and urgent need for the Bipartisan Infrastructure Framework, which will create a generation of good-paying union jobs and economic growth. This meeting in the Roosevelt Room will have a pool spray at the top.

Thursday – Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen will convene the heads of multilateral development banks (MDBs) and their private sector leads to discuss ways that the MDBs can rapidly align their portfolios with the goals of the Paris Agreement and redouble their efforts to mobilize significantly more private climate flows. Participants will include U.S. Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry and leadership from the African Development Bank, Asian Development Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Inter-American Development Bank Group, and World Bank Group.
