Treasury Department
Wednesday – Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen will travel to Atlanta, Georgia, to promote the Biden-Harris Administration’s economic agenda. In Atlanta, the Secretary will join Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms for an event and deliver remarks on the economic benefits of the bipartisan infrastructure bill and President Biden’s Build Back Better agenda. Secretary Yellen will also meet with area business leaders to discuss the Biden-Harris Administration’s economic agenda and the investments needed to bolster long term economic growth. The meeting will be closed press.
Secretary Yellen will visit the Latin American Association Atlanta Outreach Center to discuss the expanded, advanceable Child Tax Credit and other benefits of the American Rescue Plan. The event will be open press.
