The White House
DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR
TUESDAY, AUGUST 10, 2021
In the morning, the President will receive the President’s Daily Brief. This meeting will be closed press.
Then, the President will return to the White House from Wilmington, Delaware. The departure from Delaware Air National Guard Base will be covered by the out-of-town pool. The arrival on the South Lawn will be open press and pooled for TV.
In the afternoon, the President will receive a briefing from the FEMA Administrator and his Homeland Security and COVID-19 Response teams on how the COVID-19 pandemic is impacting hurricane preparedness. They will discuss the vital importance of people getting vaccinated to protect themselves ahead of peak hurricane season as well as the steps the Biden Administration is taking to ensure that Federal disaster response efforts are forward leaning, effective, support public health, and keep Americans safe. This meeting in the State Dining Room will have a pool spray at the top.
