Then, the President will participate virtually in the annual U.S.-ASEAN Summit, where he will discuss the United States’ enduring commitment to ASEAN centrality and strengthening our strategic partnership with ASEAN as we work together to end the COVID-19 pandemic, address the climate crisis, promote economic growth, and address a range of other regional challenges and opportunities. This meeting in the South Court Auditorium will have an in-house pool and pre-credentialed media spray at the top. [RSVP here by 6:30 AM]
In the afternoon, the President will have lunch with the Vice President in the Private Dining Room. This lunch will be closed press.
In the evening, the President will campaign with former Governor Terry McAuliffe at Virginia Highlands Park in Arlington, Virginia. This event will be open press.

Deputy General Counsel María Pagán and Assistant U.S. Trade Representative for South and Central Asia Christopher Wilson will testify before the Senate Finance Committee at 9:30 AM ET regarding their nominations to serve as Deputy United States Trade Representative (Geneva Office) and Chief Innovation and Intellectual Property Negotiator, respectively.
