Monday January 3 Washington Schedules from Mace News

THE WHITE HOUSE

DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR
MONDAY, JANUARY 3, 2022

In the morning, the President will return to the White House from Wilmington, Delaware. The departure from Delaware Air National Guard Base and the arrival at Joint Base Andrews will be covered by the out-of-town pool. The arrival on the South Lawn will be open press and pooled for TV.

Then, the President and the Vice President will receive the President’s Daily Brief in the Oval Office. This meeting will be closed press.

In the afternoon, the President will meet virtually with family and independent farmers and ranchers to discuss his Administration’s work to boost competition and reduce prices in the meat-processing industry, where corporate consolidation has led to rising prices for consumers and lower earnings for farmers and ranchers. The meat producers will talk about the challenges they have faced as large conglomerates have absorbed more and more smaller processors. The Attorney General and the Secretary of Agriculture will also attend. This virtual meeting in the South Court Auditorium will have a spray at the top by the in-house pool and pre-credentialed media.
