Then, the President will travel to Atlanta, Georgia. The departure from the South Lawn will be open press and pooled for TV. The departure from Joint Base Andrews will be covered by the out-of-town pool. The arrival at Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport will be open press.
In the afternoon, the President and the Vice President will pay their respects at a wreath laying at the crypt of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Mrs. Coretta Scott King at The Martin Luther King, Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change in Atlanta, Georgia. This event will be covered by the out-of-town pool.
After, the President and the Vice President will visit Historic Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia. This visit will be closed press
Then, the President and the Vice President will speak to the American people about the urgent need to pass legislation to protect the constitutional right to vote and the integrity of our elections at the Atlanta University Center Consortium on the grounds of Morehouse College and Clark Atlanta University, Atlanta, Georgia. These remarks will be open to pre-credentialed media and pooled for TV.
In the evening, the President will return to the White House from Atlanta, Georgia. The departure from Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport will be open press. The arrival at Joint Base Andrews will be covered by the out-of-town pool. The arrival on the South Lawn will be open press and pooled for TV.
