DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR

In the morning, the President will return to the White House from Wilmington, Delaware. The departure from Delaware Air National Guard Base will be covered by the out-of-town pool. The arrival on the South Lawn will be open press and pooled for TV.

Then, the President and the Vice President will receive the President’s Daily Brief. This meeting in the Oval Office will be closed press.
 
After, the President will host a secure call with Allies and partners to discuss the latest developments regarding Russia’s attack on Ukraine and to coordinate our united response. This call in the Situation Room will be closed press.
In the afternoon, the President and the First Lady will host a celebration to mark Black History Month in the East Room. They will be joined by the Vice President, the Second Gentleman, the Secretary of Defense, the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, the Acting Director of the Office of Management and Budget, the United States Ambassador to the United Nations, the Chair of the Council of Economic Advisers, members of the Congressional Black Caucus, State and local elected officials, Civil Rights leaders, and Divine Nine leadership. This event will be covered by the in-house pool and pre-credentialed media.

Ambassador Katherine Tai will travel to Baltimore, Maryland and participate in a roundtable discussion with Morgan State University students and faculty. Advancing racial equity and supporting Historically Black Colleges and Universities are top priorities for the Biden-Harris Administration. The conversation with Morgan State students and faculty will focus on the need to create inclusive trade policy that expands economic prosperity to historically overlooked communities. There will be a photo spray at the top of the event and a short press availability following the roundtable.
 
Ambassador Jayme White will join a panel event hosted by the Brookings Institute: “USMCA: Building a more competitive, inclusive, and sustainable North American economy.”
