In the morning, the President will receive the President’s Daily Brief. This meeting will be closed press.
Then, the President will announce actions to continue to hold Russia accountable for its unprovoked and unjustified war on Ukraine. These remarks in the Roosevelt Room will be covered by the in-house pool.
After, the President will travel to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The departure from the South Lawn will be open press and pooled for TV. The departure from Joint Base Andrews will be covered by the out-of-town pool. The arrival at Philadelphia International Airport will be open press.
In the afternoon, the President will deliver remarks at the House Democratic Caucus Issues Conference. This event at Hilton Philadelphia at Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania will be open to pre-credentialed media.
Later, the President will tour an elementary school on the one-year anniversary of the American Rescue Plan, highlighting the impact of the American Rescue Plan’s support for schools on keeping schools safe and open, combating learning loss, and addressing student mental health. This visit will be covered by the out-of-town pool.
In the afternoon, the President will travel to Camp David, where he will remain over the weekend. The departure from Philadelphia International Airport will be open press.

WASHINGTON – Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen will travel to Denver, Colorado with Second Gentleman of the United States Douglas Emhoff to mark the anniversary of President Biden’s American Rescue Plan Act. Secretary Yellen and Second Gentleman Emhoff will join Colorado Governor Jared Polis and Denver Mayor Michael Hancock at Mi Casa Resource Center, which received American Rescue Plan funding to provide workforce development services. Secretary Yellen will deliver remarks at an event beginning at 5:45 pm ET, which will be livestreamed here.
While in Denver, Secretary Yellen and Second Gentleman Emhoff will also visit the Denver branch of the U.S. Mint, which is one of six U.S. Mint production facilities nationwide and one of two locations manufacturing coins for the new American Women Quarters Program. Secretary Yellen and Second Gentleman Emhoff will tour the women quarters production line with U.S Mint Deputy Director Ventris Gibson, the first Black woman in history to head the U.S. Mint, and Superintendent of U.S. Denver Mint Randy Johnson.
Deputy Secretary of the Treasury Wally Adeyemo will meet with advisors and staff.
