In the afternoon, the President will deliver remarks on progress made on his Administration’s Trucking Action Plan to strengthen our nation’s supply chains, including by bringing more veterans and women into the industry. The Secretary of Transportation will also deliver remarks.

Assistant Secretary for Financial Institutions Graham Steele will participate in a fireside chat at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School’s Capital Markets Association Annual Conference “Innovations in Capital Markets: The Future of Digital Assets.” The event begins at 5 PM and is open press. Ambassador Katherine Tai will arrive in Singapore for meetings with government officials and stakeholders. During her trip, Ambassador Tai will look to strengthen the U.S.-Singapore trade relationship and identify areas of cooperation through the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework. The Framework is a key piece of the Biden-Harris Administration’s Indo-Pacific strategy, and it will deliver concrete, economically meaningful benefits to the region.
Ambassador Tai will meet with Singapore’s Minister of Transport S Iswaran. She will also tour the Port of Singapore and visit a local business. These events are closed press
