WASHINGTON – In the morning, Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen will deliver remarks on digital assets policy, making the case for a consistent and comprehensive policy framework that promotes responsible innovation of digital assets and appropriately assesses and mitigates the risks they may pose. The remarks, which will be delivered at American University’s Kogod School of Business Center for Innovation, are open press and available via livestream beginning at 10:30 AM here
Deputy Secretary of the Treasury Wally Adeyemo will meet with advisors and staff.
At 7:00 PM, Counselor for Racial Equity Janis Bowdler with participate in a virtual briefing with the Black Economic Alliance Foundation to discuss how Treasury is working to ensure that every American who is eligible for the Child Tax Credit (CTC) and Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) can access the full tax credits this year.
