In the morning, the President will return to the White House from Wilmington, Delaware. The departure from Delaware Air National Guard Base will be covered by the out-of-town pool. The arrival on the South Lawn will be open press and pooled for TV.
Then, the President will receive the President’s Daily Brief. This meeting will be closed press.
After, the President will meet virtually with Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India to further deepen ties between our governments, economies, and people. President Biden and Prime Minister Modi will discuss a range of issues including ending the COVID-19 pandemic, countering the climate crisis, strengthening the global economy, mitigating the destabilizing impacts of Russia’s war against Ukraine, and upholding a free and open Indo-Pacific. This meeting in the South Court Auditorium will have a pool spray at the top.
In the afternoon, the President will announce new action by his Administration to fight gun crime. The Vice President and Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco will also deliver remarks. These remarks in the Rose Garden will be open press. [RSVP here by 10:00 AM EDT]
