WEEKEND GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR
SATURDAY, APRIL 30, 2022 AND SUNDAY, MAY 1, 2022
On Saturday evening, the President and the First Lady will attend the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner at the Washington Hilton. The President will deliver remarks. This event will be covered by the in-town travel pool.
On Sunday morning, the President will travel to Minneapolis, Minnesota. The departure from the South Lawn will be open press and pooled for TV. The departure from Joint Base Andrews will be covered by the out-of-town pool. The arrival at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport will be open press.
In the afternoon, the President will attend and deliver remarks at the memorial service of Vice President Walter Mondale. The event at the Northrop Memorial Auditorium at University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota will be open to pre-credentialed media.
In the evening, the President will return to the White House from Minneapolis, Minnesota. The departure from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport will be open press. The arrival at Joint Base Andrews and the arrival at the White House will be covered by the out-of-town pool.
