Tuesday – Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen will join President Biden and the Chair of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System Jerome Powell to discuss the state of the American and global economy, and the President’s top economic priority: addressing inflation as we transition from a historic economic recovery to stable, steady growth that works for working families. At 10:30 AM, Ambassador Katherine Tai will participate in a fireside chat with Under Secretary of the Air Force Gina Ortiz Jones at the Pentagon to mark the conclusion of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. This event is open press.
