White House and Other Schedules for Thursday, June 2

WASHINGTON (MaceNews) – The following are Thursday’s schedules for the White House, Treasury, USTR, the State Department and Capitol Hill as well as US data and Federal Reserve events: 

 DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR
THURSDAY, JUNE 2, 2022

 
In the morning, the President and the Vice President will receive the President’s Daily Brief in the Oval Office. This meeting will be closed press.
 
Then, the President will join a meeting with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and National Security Advisory Jake Sullivan to discuss preparations for the NATO Summit in Madrid at the end of June and the strength of our transatlantic Alliance. This meeting in the Roosevelt Room will be closed press.
 
In the evening, the President will travel to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, where they will remain over the weekend. The departure from the South Lawn will be open press and pooled for TV. The arrival in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware will be covered by the out-of-town pool.

Thursday – In the morning, Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen will meet with Irish Finance Minister Paschal Donohoe. The meeting is closed press but will have a photo spray at the top.

At 2 PM, Secretary Yellen, as Managing Trustee of the Board of Trustees of the Social Security and Medicare Trust Funds, will convene the Trustees for a meeting at the Treasury. The meeting is closed press.

On Thursday, June 2, Ambassador Katherine Tai will host an event with Japanese Ambassador to the United States Koji Tomita. There will be a photo spray during this event.

Friday, June 3, 2022

Ambassador Tai will be in Denver, Colorado to discuss President Biden’s trade agenda and support for farmers and ranchers. She will return to Washington, D.C. in the evening. Additional details will be released later this week.
