White House and Other Schedules for Friday, July 8

WASHINGTON (MaceNews) – The following are Friday’s schedules for the White House, Treasury, USTR, the State Department and Capitol Hill as well as US data and Federal Reserve events:   

DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR
FRIDAY, JULY 8, 2022
 
In the morning, the President will receive the President’s Daily Brief. This meeting will be closed press.
 
After, the President will deliver remarks on protecting access to reproductive health care services. The Vice President and the Secretary of Health and Human Services will attend. These remarks in the Roosevelt Room will be covered by the in-house pool.

In the afternoon, the President will visit the CIA headquarters and deliver remarks to thank the workforce and commemorate the Agency’s achievements over the 75 years since its founding. This event in Langley, Virginia will be covered by the in-town travel pool.
 
In the evening, the President will travel to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, where he will remain over the weekend. The departure from the South Lawn will be open press. The arrival in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware will be covered by the out-of-town pool.

Friday –  Secretary Yellen prepares for her Saturday departure to Tokyo and for the G20 in Bali

Friday – Ambassador Katherine Tai and Ambassador Jayme White will be in Vancouver, Canada for the second Free Trade Commission of the United States – Mexico – Canada Agreement. 

Ambassador Tai and Ambassador White will meet with Canada’s Minister of International Trade, Export Promotion, Small Business and Economic Development Mary Ng. This meeting is closed press. 

At 10:00 AM PT/1:00 PM ET, Ambassador Tai will participate in a trilateral press conference with Minister Ng and Mexico’s Secretary of Economy, Tatiana Clouthier Carrillo at the Vancouver Convention Centre (1055 Canada Pl, Vancouver, BC).
