US SENATE The weekend’s main Washington event. Senate Saturday takes procedural vote to advance the consideration of the Inflation Reduction Act then embarks on the so-called Vote-a-rama, in which majority Democrats try to dispose of a great number of Republican killer amendments. Final vote possible as soon as late Sunday. But first, Senate convenes 12:00 p.m. Saturday and proceeds to executive session to resume consideration of the motion to discharge the nomination of David M.
