In the morning, the President will travel to Poughkeepsie, New York. The departure from the South Lawn will be open press. The departure from Joint Base Andrews will be covered by the out-of-town pool. The arrival at Stewart Air National Guard Base will be open press.

In the afternoon, the President will tour IBM and will deliver remarks on creating jobs in the Hudson Valley, lowering costs, and ensuring the future is made in America. The tour of IBM will be covered by the out-of-town pool. The remarks will be open press.

After, the President will depart Poughkeepsie, New York en route Red Bank, New Jersey, where he will participate in a reception for the Democratic National Committee. The departure from Poughkeepsie, New York will be covered by the out-of-town pool. The arrival in Red Bank, New Jersey will be covered by the out-of-town pool. The reception will be covered by the restricted out-of-town pool and the out-of-town pool will accompany.

Later, the President will depart Red Bank, New Jersey en route New York, New York, where he will participate in a reception for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. The departure from Red Bank, New Jersey and the arrival in New York, New York will be covered by the out-of-town pool. The reception will be covered by the restricted out-of-town pool and the out-of-town pool will accompany.

In the evening, the President will depart New York, New York en route the White House. The departure from New York, New York will be covered by the out-of-town pool. The departure from Joint Base Andrews will be covered by the out-of-town pool. The arrival on the South Lawn will be open press.

Thursday –  At 11 AM, Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen will deliver remarks at the Center for Global Development (CGD) ahead of the 2022 Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group. During her speech, Secretary Yellen will discuss key challenges facing the global economy—including shocks from COVID-19 and Putin’s illegal war against Ukraine—and their acute impact on developing countries and relationship with longer-term development trends. The Secretary will outline ideas for how the multilateral development banks (MDBs) can evolve to ensure that development finance better addresses the complex and interrelated global challenges of the 21st century while continuing to support investments for poverty reduction and sustainable, inclusive growth.
