DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE 
FOR WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 2023 
In the morning, the President and the Vice President will receive the President’s Daily Brief. This meeting in the Oval Office will be closed press.
 
In the afternoon, the President will deliver remarks in Maryland on the progress we are making building an economy from the bottom up and the middle out, and about his vision to grow the economy, lower costs, and reward work, not wealth – while reducing the deficit. The departure to and from the South Grounds will be covered by the in-town travel pool. These remarks will be pooled for TV and open to pre-credentialed media.

Wednesday – 1PM ET– Assistant Secretary for Financial Institutions Graham Steele will deliver remarks on fintech, digital assets, and cybersecurity at the Exchequer Club Meeting in Washington. His remarks will be open press and posted on the Treasury website. Secretary Yellen has no public engagements.

Wednesday – Departmental press briefings, when held on weekdays, occur around 2p ET.

Ambassador Tai will be in Munich, Germany.
 
At 6:45 PM CET, Ambassador Tai will participate in a panel discussion during the Munich Security Conference with European Union Executive Vice President Valdis Dombrovskis to discuss ongoing changes to the global trade landscape.  This event is open press.
