In the morning, the President will receive the President’s Daily Brief in the Oval Office. This meeting will be closed press.

In the afternoon, the President will welcome H.E. Moon Jae-in, President of the Republic of Korea, to the White House. This visit will highlight the ironclad alliance between the United States and the Republic of Korea, and the broad and deep ties between our governments, people, and economies. This greet will be closed press.
 
Then, the President will award the Medal of Honor to Army Colonel Ralph Puckett for conspicuous gallantry during the Korean War in the East Room. H.E. Moon Jae-in, President of the Republic of Korea, the Vice President, the First Lady, and the Second Gentleman will also attend. This event will be pooled press.
 
After, the President will participate in a bilateral meeting with H.E. Moon Jae-in, President of the Republic of Korea, in the Oval Office. This meeting will be closed press.
 
Later, the President will participate in an expanded bilateral meeting with H.E. Moon Jae-in, President of the Republic of Korea, in the State Dining Room. This meeting will have a pool spray at the top.
 
In the evening, the President will participate in a press conference with H.E. Moon Jae-in, President of the Republic of Korea, in the East Room. This event will be pooled press.

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen

 Friday – Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen will meet virtually with advisors and staff. 

Deputy Secretary of the Treasury Wally Adeyemo will attend events in Los Angeles. The Deputy Secretary will visit a small business with Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti to discuss the American Rescue Plan (ARP) programs, visit a vaccination site, and meet Civic Action Fellows at Cal State LA with California’s Chief Service Officer Josh Fryday to highlight the opportunity for California to use ARP funds to provide college stipends for students who perform volunteer work.
