The White House

In the morning, the President and the Vice President will receive the President’s Daily Brief in the Oval Office. This meeting will be closed press.
 
Then, the President and the Vice President will meet with House Democratic leaders and the Chairs of the House committees working on the American Rescue Plan in the Oval Office. There will be a pool spray at the top of the meeting.
 
Later, the President will deliver remarks on the state of the economy and the need for the American Rescue Plan to deliver relief to working families in the State Dining Room. The Vice President and the Secretary of the Treasury will also attend. This event will be pooled press.
 
In the afternoon, the President will depart the White House en route Wilmington, Delaware. The departure from the South Lawn and the departure from Joint Base Andrews will be pooled press.

Secretary Yellen will join Vice President Harris at a roundtable with participants from local Black Chambers of Commerce attending virtually from across the country to discuss the importance of passing the American Rescue Plan. This event will have expanded White House pool coverage and be livestreamed on WhiteHouse.gov/live.

The U.S. Senate

After working into Thursday night on amendments, the Senate resume consideration of S. Con. Res. 5, a resolution setting forth the congressional budget including Covid-19 relief for the United States Government for fiscal year 2021 and setting forth the appropriate budgetary levels for fiscal years 2022 through 2030.

The U.S. House   9:00a ET – The House of Representatives meets for legislative business, with more work possible on a Budget Resolution, which would begin the process for crafting a $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief plan.
