In the morning, the President will receive the President’s Daily Brief. This meeting will be closed press.
Later, the President and the Vice President will host the National Governors Association at the White House for a meeting. This meeting in the East Room will have a spray at the top by the in-house pool and pre-credentialed media.
In the afternoon, the President will participate in a bilateral meeting with His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar. They will consult on a range of regional and global issues of mutual interest, including promoting security and prosperity in the Gulf and broader Middle East region, ensuring the stability of global energy supplies, supporting the people of Afghanistan, and strengthening commercial and investment cooperation between our countries. This meeting in the Oval Office will have a pool spray at the top.
