DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR
MONDAY, OCTOBER 25, 2021
In the morning, the President will travel from Wilmington, Delaware to Plainfield, New Jersey. The departure from Delaware Air National Guard Base will be covered by the supplemental pool and out-of-town pool. The arrival at Newark Liberty International Airport will be open press. The arrival in Plainfield, New Jersey will be covered by the out-of-town pool.
Then, the President will visit East End Elementary School in North Plainfield, New Jersey to highlight his Build Back Better Agenda, which makes universal, high-quality preschool a reality for all American families and would enable the North Plainfield School District to expand free preschool to all three-year-old children, in addition to the four-year-olds it currently serves. This visit will be covered by the out-of-town pool.
In the afternoon, the President will travel from Plainfield, New Jersey to Newark, New Jersey. The departure from Plainfield, New Jersey and the arrival at Newark Liberty International Airport will be covered by the out-of-town pool.
After, the President will deliver remarks at the NJ TRANSIT Meadowlands Maintenance Complex in Kearny, New Jersey on his Build Back Better Agenda and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal, which makes the largest federal investment in public transit ever, the most significant investment in passenger rail since the creation of Amtrak 50 years ago, repairs and modernizes our nation’s bridges, and creates good-paying union jobs. These remarks will be covered by the out-of-town pool and pre-credentialed media.
Later, the President will return to the White House from Newark, New Jersey. The departure from Newark Liberty International Airport will be open press. The arrival at Joint Base Andrews will be covered by the out-of-town pool. The arrival on the South Lawn will be open press and pooled for TV.
In the evening, the President will meet with His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and welcome the official delegation of the Orthodox Christian Church to the White House. This meeting in the Oval Office will be closed press.
