In the afternoon, the President and the First Lady will return from Wilmington, Delaware to the White House. The departure from Delaware Air National Guard Base, the arrival at Joint Base Andrews, and the arrival at the White House will be covered by the out-of-town pool.
After, the President and the First Lady will host a Fourth of July BBQ with essential workers and military families on the South Lawn. The President will deliver remarks to celebrate Independence Day and independence from COVID-19. These remarks will be covered by the expanded in-house pool.
Later, the President and the First Lady will view the Independence Day fireworks display over the National Mall from the White House.
