PITTSBURGH – On Thursday, September 30, 2021, Ambassador Katherine Tai and Deputy Ambassador Jayme White will tour Argo AI with Secretaries Raimondo and Blinken, Executive Vice Presidents Vestager and Dombrovskis, and Ambassador Lambrinidis.
Ambassador Tai and Deputy Ambassador White will visit Carnegie Mellon University at 11:40 AM for an “Innovations That Transform” lab tour. Afterwards, they will participate in a roundtable discussion with students and faculty to discuss how the university’s research and work complements the Biden-Harris Administration’s trade agenda. Members of the media who would like to cover this event must RSVP to media@ustr.eop.gov by Thursday, September 30 at 9:30 AM.
Later in the day, Ambassador Tai and Deputy Ambassador Whyte will return to Washington.
