In the afternoon, the President will sign into law H.R. 2471, the “Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2022.” The Vice President and the Acting Director of the Office of Management and Budget will attend. This bill signing in the Indian Treaty Room will be open to pre-credentialed media.
In the evening, the President, the Vice President, and the First Lady will deliver remarks at an event on Equal Pay Day to celebrate Women’s History Month. The Second Gentleman, the Secretary of Energy, the Acting Director of the Office of Management and Budget, the Director of National Intelligence, the Chair of the Council of Economic Advisers, the Administrator of the Small Business Administration, and members of the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team will attend. This event in the East Room will be open to pre-credentialed media.

WASHINGTON – Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen and Deputy Secretary of the Treasury Wally Adeyemo will meet with advisors and staff.
Under Secretary of the Treasury for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence Brian Nelson will continue meetings in Luanda, Angola, including with CEOs of Angolan banks to seek their perspectives on reform efforts and opportunities for partnership in protecting financial systems from corruption. He will then depart for South Africa
