The President will meet with His Majesty King Philippe, King of the Belgians, and His Excellency Alexander De Croo, Prime Minister of Belgium.
 
The President will participate in the U.S.–EU Summit, which will underscore our commitment to a strong Transatlantic partnership based on shared interests and values. The leaders will discuss a common agenda to ensure global health security, stimulate global economic recovery, tackle climate change, enhance digital and trade cooperation, strengthen democracy, and address mutual foreign policy concerns.
 
The President will travel to Geneva, Switzerland.
 
The President will meet with His Excellency Guy Parmelin, President of the Swiss Confederation.
 
Wednesday, June 16, 2021
 
The President will hold a bilateral summit with His Excellency Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation.
 
The President will hold a press conference.
 
The President will return to Washington, DC.
 

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen

Tuesday – At 1:00 PM EDT, Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen will deliver remarks at an event with Vice President Kamala Harris on providing access to capital to small businesses. There will be pooled press coverage of this event in South Court Auditorium, and it will be livestreamed on WhiteHouse.gov/Live.

Deputy Secretary of the Treasury Wally Adeyemo will meet with advisors and staff.   

                                    State Department

Tuesday – Secretary of State Blinken is accompanying President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. on his travel to Geneva, Switzerland, participating in President Biden’s bilateral meeting with Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin in Geneva.

The Senate

10:00 a.m.: Convene and proceed to executive session to resume consideration of the nomination of Lina M. Khan, of New York, to be a Federal Trade Commissioner.
