The White House

In the morning, the President will receive the President’s Daily Brief in the Oval Office. This meeting will be closed press.
 
In the afternoon, the President will travel to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The departure from the South Lawn will be open press. The departure from Joint Base Andrews will be covered by the out-of-town pool. The arrival at Philadelphia International Airport will be open press.
 
Then, the President will deliver remarks on protecting the sacred, constitutional right to vote at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This event will be covered by the out-of-town pool and pre-credentialed media.
 
After, the President will return to the White House from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The departure from Philadelphia International Airport will be open press. The arrival at Joint Base Andrews will be covered by the out-of-town pool. The arrival on the South Lawn will be open press.

Wednesday, June 14, 2021

The President will meet with a bipartisan group of Governors and Mayors to discuss the importance of the critical investments in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Framework to States and cities across the country.

Thursday, July 15, 2021

The President will deliver remarks to mark the day that tens of millions of families will get their first monthly tax relief payments thanks to the American Rescue Plan. The expanded Child Tax Credit provides working families $250 each month for every child 6 to 17 years old, and $300 each month for every child under 6 years old.

The President will welcome Her Excellency Dr. Angela Merkel, Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, to the White House for an Official Working Visit. H.E. Dr. Merkel’s visit will affirm the deep and enduring bilateral ties between the United States and Germany. This forward-looking visit will address our robust partnership on shared global challenges and identify areas to further strengthen cooperation in the months and years ahead.

The President and H.E. Dr. Merkel will participate in a bilateral meeting, an expanded bilateral meeting, and a joint press conference.

The President and the First Lady will host H.E. Dr. Merkel and Professor Dr. Joachim Sauer for dinner.

The President will travel to Camp David, where he will remain over the weekend.

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen

Tuesday – Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen will hold bilateral meetings with European Central Bank and European country counterparts, which are closed press.

The Secretary will later will travel back to the U.S. from Brussels, Belgium.

Deputy Secretary of the Treasury Wally Adeyemo will meet with advisors and staff. 

On Tuesday, at 2 p.m. ET, Treasury will release the Monthly Treasury Statement.

Federal Reserve

Fed Chair Powell delivers semiannual testimony to Congress beginning with the House Financial Services Committee 12 noon Wednesday and then the Senate Banking Committee 9:30a ET Thursday.

State Department

Tuesday – When held, news briefings are about 2 p.m. ET. Tuesday’s, Wednesday’s and Thursday’s were held on camera, Friday’s by telephone. Monday’s was on camera at 2:15p ET.
