In the afternoon, the President will receive a briefing from local leaders on the impacts of Hurricane Ida. This meeting at Somerset County Emergency Management Training Center will have a pool spray at the top.
Later, the President will tour a neighborhood in Manville, New Jersey. This event will be covered by the travel pool.
After, the President will travel to Queens, New York to survey storm damage from Hurricane Ida. The departure from Central Jersey Airport will be open press. The arrival at LaGuardia Airport will be covered by the travel pool.
Then, the President will tour a neighborhood in Queens, New York and deliver remarks on his Administration’s response to Hurricane Ida. This event will be covered by the travel pool.
In the evening, the President will depart Queens, New York en route Joint Base Andrews. The departure from LaGuardia Airport will be covered by the out-of-town pool. The arrival and departure from John F. Kennedy International Airport will be open press. The arrival and departure from Joint Base Andrews will be covered by the out-of-town pool.
