The White House

In the morning, the President will receive the President’s Daily Brief in the Oval Office. This meeting will be closed press.
 
Then, the President and the Vice President will meet with members of Congressional Leadership to discuss policy areas of mutual agreement in the Oval Office. Speaker Pelosi, Leader Schumer, Leader McConnell, and Leader McCarthy will attend. This meeting will have a pool spray at the top.
 
In the afternoon, the President will deliver remarks on the COVID-19 response and the vaccination program in the South Court Auditorium. This event will be pooled press.

Schedule for Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen

Wednesday, May 12, 2021

Secretary Janet L. Yellen will meet virtually with advisors and staff.

Deputy Secretary Wally Adeyemo will meet virtually with the Opportunity Finance Network (OFN) Board of Directors to share Treasury’s vision for an equitable recovery to address systemic barriers that existed long before the pandemic, and ways that Treasury can use its tools – particularly short – and long-term investments in Community Development Financial Institutions – to support local communities.
