The White House

In the morning, the President will travel to New London, Connecticut. The departure from the Ellipse will be covered by the in-town pool. The departure from Joint Base Andrews and the arrival at Quonset Point Air National Guard will be covered by the travel pool.
 
Then, the President will receive the President’s Daily Brief. This meeting will be closed press.
 
In the afternoon, the President will participate in the United States Coast Guard Academy’s 140th Commencement Exercises and deliver the keynote address. This event will be covered by the travel pool.
 
Later, the President will return to the White House from New London, Connecticut. The departure from Quonset Point Air National Guard and the arrival at Joint Base Andrews will be covered by the travel pool. The arrival on the Ellipse will be covered by the in-town pool.

Schedule for Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen

Wednesday – Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen will meet virtually with advisors and staff.

Deputy Secretary of the Treasury Wally Adeyemo will attend events in Long Beach, California. The Deputy Secretary will meet with Mayor Robert Garcia and local business owners to discuss the American Rescue Plan. The event is closed press.  

The Secretary will also virtually deliver remarks at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Global Forum on Economic Recovery. Register to livestream the event here.

Additionally, the Secretary will attend a meeting with the American Bankers Association Board of Directors. The event is closed press.

Deputy Secretary of the Treasury Wally Adeyemo will meet with economic experts on racial equity to discuss the Biden Administration’s tax policies including Treasury’s recent announcement that payments of the advanceable, increased Child Tax Credit will be automatically paid to families that include 88% of the nation’s children. The event is closed press.
