The White House

DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 11, 2021

 
In the morning, the President will receive the President’s Daily Brief in the Oval Office. This meeting will be closed press.
 
Then, the President will meet virtually with business, university, and health care leaders to discuss strategies to get more Americans vaccinated and end the COVID-19 pandemic. This meeting in the Oval Office will be closed press.
 
In the afternoon, the President will deliver remarks on his Build Back Better agenda that will lower costs for working families, generate economic growth, and create jobs. These remarks in the East Room will be covered by the in-house pool and pre-credentialed media. [RSVP here by 9:00 AM EDT]
 
After, the President will meet virtually with Governors, Mayors, and other state, local, and tribal officials to discuss the importance of the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act to fix crumbling roads and bridges, make a historic investment in transit, modernize water infrastructure, invest in electric vehicle infrastructure, and expand broadband access to all Americans. This meeting in the South Court Auditorium will be covered by the in-house pool.
