WASHINGTON (MaceNews) – The following are Wednesday’s public schedules for the White House, Treasury, the State Department, the Capitol and for upcoming economic data and Federal Reserve events:

The White House

DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR WEDNESDAY, JUNE 2, 2021  
In the morning, the President and the Vice President will receive the President’s Daily Brief in the Oval Office. This meeting will be closed press.
 
Then, the President and the Vice President will receive a briefing from members of their COVID-19 Response Team on the COVID-19 pandemic and the state of vaccinations in the Oval Office. This meeting will be closed press.
 
In the afternoon, the President will have lunch with the Vice President in the Private Dining Room. This lunch will be closed press.
 
After, the President will deliver remarks on the COVID-19 response and the vaccination program in the South Court Auditorium. The Vice President will also attend. These remarks will be pooled press.
 
Later, the President will meet with Senator Capito to continue their discussion on investing in American infrastructure in the Oval Office. This meeting will be closed press.
 
In the evening, the President and the First Lady will travel to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, where they will remain until Friday. The departure from the Ellipse will be covered by the in-town pool, and the arrival in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware will be covered by the travel pool.

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen

Wednesday Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen will travel to the G7 finance ministers meeting in London, England. During her first overseas trip, Secretary Yellen will reinforce the U.S. commitment to policy priorities to promote the global recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, including maintaining supportive fiscal policies, vaccine access and distribution, and support for low-income countries. She will also discuss with her G7 partners the importance of improving public health to prevent future pandemics and building greener and more resilient economies to meet the challenges of climate change.

Deputy Secretary of the Treasury Wally Adeyemo will participate in a virtual roundtable discussion with representatives from small businesses to discuss the impact of sanctions on their operations.
