White House and Other Schedules for Friday, April 12

WASHINGTON (MaceNews) – The following are Friday’s schedules for the White House, Treasury, USTR, the State Department and Capitol Hill as well as U.S. economic data

DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE 
FOR FRIDAY, APRIL 12, 2024  
In the morning, the President will receive the President’s Daily Brief. This meeting in the Oval Office will be closed press.
 
In the afternoon, the President will deliver virtual remarks at the National Action Network Convention. These remarks from the South Court Auditorium will be open to pre-credentialed media.
In the evening, the President will travel to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware where he will remain until Sunday. The departure from the South Lawn will be open press. The arrival in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware will be covered by the out-of-town pool.

Friday –  Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen has no public engaagements.

  STATE DEPT

Friday –8:00 a.m. Secretary Blinken, Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III, and National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan meet with Philippine Secretary of Foreign Affairs Enrique Manalo, Philippine Secretary of National Defense Gilberto Teodoro, and Philippine National Security Advisor Eduardo M. Año at the Department of State.

12:00 p.m. Secretary Blinken delivers remarks at the second annual Minority Serving Institutions Conference at the Department of State.
