White House and Other Schedules for Friday, Aug 26

WASHINGTON (MaceNews) – The following are Friday’s schedules for the White House, Treasury, USTR, the State Department and Capitol Hill as well as U.S. data and Federal Reserve events:   

DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE

In the morning, the President will receive the President’s Daily Brief. This meeting will be closed press.
 
After, the President will drop by a meeting with state and local elected officials on Women’s Equality Day to discuss actions to protect access to reproductive health care. This event in the Roosevelt Room will have an in-house pool spray.

In the afternoon, the President will travel to Beltsville, Maryland. The departure from the White House will be open press. The arrival at the Beltsville Landing Zone will be covered by the supplemental pool.

Later, the President will depart Beltsville, Maryland en route Wilmington, Delaware. The departure from the Beltsville Landing Zone will be covered by the supplemental pool. The arrival at Delaware Air National Guard Base will be covered by the out-of-town pool.

Friday – Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen has no public engagements. Deputy Secretary of the Treasury Wally Adeyemo will meet with government counterparts in New Delhi, India to reaffirm and strengthen the U.S.-India relationship and our shared commitment to a secure and prosperous Indo-Pacific, including by underscoring our two countries’ deep economic, security, and cultural ties. Following meetings in New Delhi, Deputy Secretary Adeyemo will return to the United States.    USTR

Friday –  Ambassador Katherine Tai has no public engagements.

STATE DEPARTMENT
