WASHINGTON (MaceNews) – The following are Friday’s schedules for the White House, Treasury, USTR, the State Department and Capitol Hill as well as U.S. data and Federal Reserve events: 


DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE 
FOR FRIDAY, DECEMBER 2, 2022 


In the morning, the President will receive the President’s Daily Brief. This meeting will be closed press.

In the afternoon, the President will travel to Boston, Massachusetts. The departure from the North Grounds and from Joint Base Andrews will be covered by the out-of-town pool. The arrival to Boston Logan International Airport, Boston, Massachusetts will be open press.

Later, the President will greet His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales. This greet at the John F. Kennedy Library and Museum will be covered by the out-of-town pool.
After, President will participate in an International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) phone bank in Boston, Massachusetts. This event will be pooled for TV and open for editorials.

In the evening, the President will participate in a reception for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. This reception in Boston, Massachusetts will be covered by the restricted out-of-town pool and the out-of-town pool will accompany.

Later, the President will travel to Camp David. The departure from Boston Logan International Airport, Boston, Massachusetts will be open press. The arrival at Joint Base Andrews and departure to the Camp David will be covered by the out-of-town pool.

US TREASURY

Friday – Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen will hold a bilateral meeting with French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire to coordinate efforts to aid Ukraine and hold Russia accountable for its illegal war.  The two leaders will also discuss their two nations’ shared objectives for energy security; climate ambition; and resilient, reliable supply chains. The meeting is closed press.

STATE DEPT

Friday – At 9:00 AM, Ambassador Katherine Tai will participate in a fireside chat hosted by the Atlantic Council with Secretary-General of the African Continental Free Trade Area Secretariat Wamkele Mene.  This event will be livestreamed on the Atlantic Council’s website.
 
Ambassador Tai will meet with Panama’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Janaina Tewaney and Minister of Commerce and Industry Federico Alfaro.  This meeting is closed press.  

US HOUSE

Friday – The next meeting is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on December 2, 2022.

US  SENATE

Monday, Dec 05, 2022 3:00 p.m.: Convene and proceed to executive session to resume consideration of the nomination of Frances Kay Behm, of Michigan, to be United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Michigan.
