COMPREHENSIVE TRIP GUIDANCE FOR PRESIDENT BIDEN
FRIDAY, MARCH 24, 2023
In the morning, the President will receive the President’s Daily Brief. This meeting will be closed press. 

After, the President will participate in an official welcome ceremony and book signing. This official welcome ceremony and book signing at Parliament Hill, Ottawa Canada will be covered by the out-of-town pool.

Then, the President will participate in a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Canada. This bilateral meeting at Parliament Hill, Ottawa, Canada will have an out-of-town pool spray at the top.

Later, the President will participate in an expanded bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Canada. This expanded bilateral meeting at Parliament Hill, Ottawa, Canada will have an out-of-town pool spray at the top.

In the afternoon, the President will address the Canadian Parliament. The First Lady will attend. This address at Parliament Hill will be open to pre-credentialed media.

After, the President and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Canada will hold a joint press conference. This joint press conference at Sir John A. Macdonald Building, Ottawa, Canada will be open to pre-credentialed media.

In the evening, the President and the First Lady will attend a Gala Dinner hosted by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Mrs. Sophie Grégoire Trudeau of Canada. The arrival at the Gala Dinner at the Canadian Aviation and Space Museum, Ottawa, Canada will be covered by the out-of-town pool. The Gala Dinner will have an out-of-town pool spray at the top.

After, the President and the First Lady will travel from Ottawa, Canada to Wilmington, Delaware where they will remain for the weekend. The departure from Ottawa International Airport, Ottawa, Canada will be covered by the out-of-town pool. The arrival at Delaware Air National Guard Base, New Castle, Delaware will be covered by the supplemental pool.

Friday –  In the morning, Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen will chair a meeting of the Financial Stability Oversight Council. The meeting is closed press. Presumably on the agenda is the subject of bank runs and the Credit Suisse pending takeover.

Friday –   Departmental press briefings, when held on weekdays, occur around 2p ET.
