In the morning, The President and the First Lady will host the 2023 White House Easter Egg Roll, a tradition dating back to 1878. The Vice President and the Second Gentleman will attend.
A teacher for more than 30 years, the First Lady is continuing her theme of “EGGucation” for the event, transforming the South Lawn and Ellipse into a school community, full of fun educational activities for children of all ages to enjoy. In addition to the time-honored traditions of rolling and hunting eggs, this year’s White House Easter “EGGucation” Roll will also feature a School House Activity Area, Reading Nook, Talent Show, Field Trip to the Farm, Picture Day, a Physical “EGGucation” Zone, a Snack Time Tent and more. This event on the South Lawn will be open to pre-credentialed media.
In the afternoon, the President will receive the President’s Daily Brief. The Vice President will attend. This meeting in the Oval Office will be closed press.

US TREASURY
Monday – Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen will prepare to participate in the World Bank and IMF’s Spring Meetings and related events. Throughout the week the Secretary will mark major advances in areas like the IMF’s new program in Ukraine and our work to evolve the multilateral development banks, including enabling the World Bank to deliver up to $50 billion in additional financing capacity over the next decade. She will also take stock with counterparts on work already underway to advance priorities like strengthening the global economy, supporting Ukraine, and addressing global challenges, as well as consult on additional action needed.
At 3:30 PM, Deputy Secretary of the Treasury Wally Adeyemo will join Vice President Kamala Harris for a press call to announce an historic investment in financially underserved communities to improve access to capital and financial services. After remarks from the Vice President and Deputy Secretary, there will be a Q&A with senior administration officials. Members of the media interested in attending can register here.
